About Mara Olodare
Mara Olodare means “red waters” in the native Masai language. As we interacted with the local community we found out that the stream from our camp flows into a swamp that nurtures more communities and they call the swamp ‘Olodare’. Our desire from the onset as hoteliers was to set-up accommodations that are ecofriendly and offer a sustainable yet flourishing future for locals and guests, therefore in this same reverent spirit we named the camp “Mara Olodare”.
